A volunteer is a plant that sprouts where it wasn’t planted.
In the crack of a pavement or the edge of a garden bed, a volunteer takes root and grows.
This idea underpins Offshoots Festival 2026: three weeks of sculpture, film, food and workshops circling around what it means to take root somewhere you weren’t originally meant to be.
Held at ESEA Community Centre.
